If you remember, last year I attended Watson’s first ever Beauty Day Out event and a few weeks ago I attended their 2nd event showcasing some of the new brands joining Watsons as well as the new items some brands are launching!

Similar to the last event, we were split into smaller groups and brought around to different booths. And this flower hairband helps identify our groups!

Since last year, Watsons has underwent massive re-branding efforts and this time they’ve made some changes to their logo in terms of slight design tweaks + change of font! Very impressed by Watsons’s efforts to continually strive to improve themselves even though they’re already the leading drugstore in Asia. And like their tagline says: At Watsons, there’s always more!! So expect to see more exciting contests, freebies and more this year!

Our first booth for that evening is a new brand (elite models) that’s going to be rolled out in Watsons!

I really love the packaging and quality of this brand and it’s something you definitely want to check out in Watsons!

Comes with full range of cosmetics from face to eyes and even something for your nails!

One of their top products, their fantastic primer base!

Next, Rock Beauty is also a new brand that you can expect to see in Watsons. Nail wraps are the new way to adorn fingers and toes and they’re so easy to put on and comes in pretty designs!

Particularly loving this moustache design hehe!

My favourite booth of that day was this Eyemazing x Jewelove x Avance x Candydoll booth!

Very funky eyelashes!

The highlight of this booth is a new brand in SG from Japan that’s in the Cosme award list – Avance!! They’ve this really popular eyelash lash serum that’s really popular back in Japan!

At the booth, we were also given the chance to try out fake eyelashes from their range!! I hardly ever put on fake eyelashes cos I find them really prickly and uncomfortable. But amazingly, these lashes felt really comfortable!

There was also a booth by Heroine Make! Here’s a pic with their ‘prince’ that night haha!

And I’m sure everyone knows that Heroine Make’s popular for their mascaras! (Haven’t tried before though!)

And we had the chance to take look at their newest product, their mineral BB powder that’s said to have excellent oil control properties and keep your face shine free for most of the day!

Was such a fun night and I learnt so much from all the different booths! And really excited by all the new brands that are coming to Watsons cos they look really fab!!

I look ridiculously happy here for some reason. No idea what I was smiling about lolol.

Returned home with a huge load of goodies! Thanks Watsons and the participating brands!! (: Thinking of doing a giveaway soon cos I only have one face!!

I’m sure Bata is a brand that all of us know. For me, it was where I got my first pair of white school shoes from and I’ve been wearing Bata’s school shoes throughout primary and secondary school.

Bata is founded by Thomas John Bata and unknown to many, the brand originated from Czech Republic in 1894. The first Singapore Bata store was opened in 1931.

Bata might seem like a brand of the past to many, but I myself do visit their stores every now and then because I think that their shoes are really comfortable and affordable. And I noticed that their designs are getting trendier lately!

A few weeks ago, I was invited to attend Bata’s first ever bloggers event to preview their new S/S 2013 collection which was held at their showroom!

Here’s a preview to what’s coming up on Bata! Expect bright and fun colours this season! Some of the designs are already in stores from March onwards. (:

Bata actually carries a few different brands under them like North Star, Bubblegummers apart from their house brand, and I really like the designs of this brand called Marie Claire!!

Love the pop of colours!! Would definitely get these if I’m still schooling.

Took a look at the Men’s collection and I really like the designs! Guys, you definitely need to check out Bata’s new collection!

Seriously, those who says that Bata stands for “Buy And Throw Away” should really step into their stores and check out their new collection! Their designs are getting really trendy and nice!

We were told to come dressed in our spring summer outfits and was given time to shop around for shoes and bags to match our attire.

I thought that this black studded bag would go well with my outfit!

And my full length outfit for that day with the bag and shoes I’ve chosen! Chose a pair of leather wedge sandals that’s classic and casual and goes well with any outfit.
